Oh, lordie, well, that's not going to be from me. I cannot imagine why so many writers want to read 'powerful, emotional, soulbaring essays.' Hell, as if I haven't got enough of that stuff in my own life. Had more than a gutful of it. Why on earth do I want to relive it all?

Nope, I'm all for reading and writing about the real issues in the world - the inequality, climate change, pandemics, etc.
