Oh, I don't think so. I grew up in a country where women were very much secon class citizens. I was also born in 1951. The difference is that I don't blame other people for what I can't do. I just go out and do them.

My late mother ran away from home - a home where there was no electricity, no running water - in 1939 at the age of 14. She joined the army (lied about her age), went to do two more years of school after the war ended, went on to become a director of her own company, race cars, become a numismatistic, philatelist, political activist, and more.

Men don't oppress one. One has the choice to walk out of a situation and do what one must to survive. I don't date. I gave that up in about 1975. I have no time for stupidity and games.
