Not quite sure which third world country you live in, but I've lived in both the third world and the first world, and I infinitely prefer the first world. Tomorrow I'm relocating from South Africa to Germany.

Here's what South Africa does not have - unless you're very rich. And the problem with all third world countries is that they have a highly developed sector that is available to the rich but nobody else.

1. Good health care unless you're rich.

2. Good internet unless you're middle class.

3. Jobs for everybody - about 25% of people are always out of work.

4. Housing for everybody - masses of tin shanties in our country,

And so on and so forth.

Of course, just as there are many diffrent types of third world countries, so there are different kinds of first world countries.

What is true is that the west underpays third world countries for both their labour and their goods.
