Nope. I'm pragmatic. If you look at the history of progressivism in the Statates at the turn of the 19th/20th century, it was mainly about the redistribution of wealth. It had very little to do with social issues.

My conclusion is that when people are better off financially, they won't care so much if this or that person doesn't like them.
