No, they do not. Yes, I'm familiar with Alfred Adler (and many other of the humanist psychologists). Between 1965 and 1995, I read some 600 psychology books.

And it's not true that people become destructive because they are oppressed. I lived through such severe oppression that at the age of 40, I had the social understanding of a five year old.

One of the reasons that modern liberalism will never work is that idea that the only reason we are evil is because we had such dreadful childhoods. It is a fatal inaccuracy.
