No, it was not voluntary. If you wanted to go to school, you had a vaccine.
The American obsession to do what they like when they like how they like is a psychopathic sickness. Your responsibility to the community is far greater (and it has been so throughout history) than your personal likes and dislikes are.
Humanity survives because the survival of the group is more important than the survival of the individual. That's because while the group can survive without the inidividual, the individual cannot survive without the group.
Everything you have is the result of group effort - of people working together. That's how civilisation happened.
