Ponomarev gave an interview to France 24 saying that Putin will be gone soon. It's his opinion. This is no different to what American Intelligence, British Intelligence, French Intelligence, and German Intelligence have been saying.

They're all speculating, though. None of them have absolute evidence. It's all based on what he looks like, that he held onto a table, that he is sitting at a very elongated table, that he has a team of doctors with him who travel with him everywhere, that he is currently in a bunker is Siberia.

From the South China Morning Post through the Daily Mail and the Washington Post, they all have the story.

I guess the headline was quite defiinitive. He IS going to be dead within a year. That made me pause. That's why I read it.
