No, I should not re-evaluate China. What I wrote was 100% correct. I’m not here to make judgements of China. You’re coming from a point of view that China shouldn’t become a world power because of its civil rights records.
I’m afraid that, should and shouldn’t have nothing to do with it. China is a world power, and it is overtaking America.
Incidentally, America has a horrific civil rights records. It has more prisoners per capita than any other country in the world. It has caused more wars and implemented more wars than any other country in the world. It has destabilized more countries than any other country in the world. It has children in cages, spies on its allies, refuses medical assistance to people who can’t pay for it, keeps a torture centre in Cuba, elects a criminally insane psychopath for a president, has been voted the most likely country in the world to start WWIII, it refuses to cooperate with eradicating climate change and its citizens uses up more energy than any other nation in the world — the list is endless.
Why is it that America has so much to say about China but has the worst civil rights record and treats its citizens like scum?
