No, competitition brings out the best in some people. It brings out the worst in me. I cannot function properly if I have to worry about winning.

In the past when bosses have pitted me against other people. I have just resigned. They have been flabbergasted because, until they told me there was a competition, I always brought in the highest figures. I wasn't competiting with anybody. I was just doing the best in my job, and I never paid any attention to what anyone else was producing.

What they were hoping for was that I would out perform my previous results. When people want to compete with me, I walk away.
