Never did anything for me. The years that I depended on god, nothing got resolved, and I wasted a good 45 years of my life praying. I was a born-again evangelical Christian.

Now I'm convinced there is no god, and for the past 25 years, I simply find ways to sort it out myself. Much better. :)
