My views aren't necessarily down. I'm growing readers.

I've been writing on the web since 1999 and I've watched more content sites than I can remember come and go.

One thing I've never understood is why one's articles are only presented to a percentage of one's readers.

I don't think the referral program has anything to do with the drop in views. That's a way of bringing new readers to Medium.
