My late father faced violence from both my mother and my stepmother. I am not a feminist for a reason.

Romantic love stories are the biggest selling genre in the world. The general them is a beautiful women finds an exceptionally strong, very goodlooking, very rich, very powerful man. He is sex on wheels, loves her to destraction, admires her brains and her capability, but when she gets into trouble through her own stupidity, he rescues her. The male just wouldn't be the male if he wasn't rescuing the woman.

This same set of women who so avidly read these fictions are simultaneously demanding that men treat them like equals by paying them the same amount of money and giving them the same level of power.

On the one hand, women want a powerful, rich man to take care of them (the book sales say so), and on the other hand, they want to have exactly the same degree of money and power of men.

It's a double standard.

I have no time for feminism.
