More importantly, we need to get realistic. There is no way in hell we can supply the amount of energy we currently consume if we convert completely to green energy.

The rare earth mining are a pollution desire, and they add to climate change as well. So the materials we use to make batteries, etc for green energy are themselves one of the causes of climate change.

If we were to mine that amount of rare metals that are needed for green energy equivalent to the amount of fossil fuels, we'd be right back to square one.

We have to cut our energy use.
