Memetic means to do something repeatedly, and when you do something repeatedly, you create a habit. The brain creates automated behaviour and automated belief. Thinking is then eliminated, thereby creating non-thinking people.

Ethics for atheists are the result of figuring out the best path forward. The best path forward, based on historical evidence, is always the greater good. My book on Secular Christianity, deals with that.

Atheists are more educated and more intelligent than believers. Virtually all scientists (the hard sciences) are atheists. There are a few exceptions, and if you dig, you will find the reasons.

Atheists have the least divorces, the happiest marriages, the least percentage of people in prison, and are the most generous.

Because atheists know that there is unlikely to be an afterlife, they do the very best they can in this life. They know their only worth is doing good for humanity.
