Many of us had the same problem when Google Plus went down. Plussers joined various 'decentralized servers.' They were terrible.

I went back to Facebook which some of us did. We are all still friends. Of course, fb for us, is a closed loop. It is just for our friends to keep in contact. Nothing more. None of us post a lot.

I have put my name down for Jack Dorsey's Bluesky and Post. I don't expect anything from post. Too few resourcs.

Jack Dorsey is another matter. We'll see. I think Musk may be turning Twitter into what Dorsey wants.
