Just because someone wins a war doesn't mean that the end justified the means. :) There is something off about your example, but I will have to think about it in order to define it. :)

Well, obviously the world is never going to have a code of ethics. Not at this point, anyway. At this point, we're going to end up in a nuclear war and climate change will finish off anything that is left. We will be extinct within 80 years. That's what I think is going to happen.

I hope you don't think I'm writing to offer solutions. I'm writing to say that those people who think that the problems cannot be solved technically are flat our wrong. The only reason the problems can't be solve is because of human ego and the human lust for power and status. It doesn't even have to do iwth greed.
