Jeff, I listened to it throughout that time.

I think there are three issues for me.

1. I'm not interested in listening to music. I'm interested in dancing to music. If I can't dance to it, I'm not interested. And no one can dance ballroom, Swing or Latin to band music. It lacks the correct beat, and it's not consistent.

2.. I don't like the sound of electronic music or electric guitars. I find them screechy and unharmonious. I prefer orchestra.

3. It's too much effort to listen to words. And so many people who sing today really have no voice worth speaking about.

I've often wondered why I don't like modern music. I think it might have something to do with having an auditory processing order (for the words) and my brain being in alpha rather than the traditional beta rhythm.

What particular songs or pieces of music do you have in mind?
