Jamie, thank you for that. However, you're missing the point. If you go and look at Umair's site, you will see several sections. In those sections, he deals with the solutions.

I happen to disagree with his solutions because he sees the solutions as 'spiritually' based. I see the solutions as law based, and the laws, to my mind, are to stop consumerism and to outlaw profit. I'm sure you will disagree with both of those, but they are the only way forward.

Yes, there are most certainly people who use formulaic writing. Tim Denning is one of them. He caters to people who want to hear that we are all such super human beings that we can solve our own problems. He makes people believe that they all have the power to make their own lives successful.

That simply isn't true. Alain de Botton, the guy who heads the London School of Life talkes about this in one of his lectures. He points out that the reason for the high level of depression in America is the fact that people are tuaght that they are 100% responsible for everything that happens in their own lives. It's simply not true.
