I've never heard of the guy, but I gave up on reading psychology/self-help/neurology at the end of the 90s. I think I've read about 600 in total. Then, again, I started reading them in 1966.

I am always fascinated by titles that read "Books that changed my life," becIausee I've never read a book that changed my life. And I think you just might have said something that explained that to me.

You said that you distrusted the content because, in areas, you knew more than the writer. Well, what happens when you read as much as I do is that you come into contact with a lot of conflicting information, so you read more and more until you find what is solid. You have to keep checking.

I think what I have establiedh is that about the only thing I will pay attention to are peer reviewed abstracts.
