I've long lost count of the number of libertarians and alt-right people who want to debate 'politely' with me. Then they sneak in snide remarks, plus insult my intelligence and knowledge with patronizing and belittling remarks.

Hit back at them, and all of a sudden, one is being called rude, or if one refuses to debate, then one has 'lost the argument.'

So, these days I have no problem being rude, and I will tell people loudly and clearly I am very rude, that I think politeness is nothing more than a weapon in the hands of the powerful.
