I've lived on an off in the UK since 1974. So every time I go back, I see the continuing down slide. Your tourist industry has all but gone.

I saw that in March 2020 when i was visiting and |I hardly saw any people. Oxford street was dead. I visited a few months ago. Same story. Soho, Covert Gardens, Camden markets were not what they used to be. There are very few tourists left in the UK.

Here's the thing. It's propaganda that the royals bring in tourists. They don't. They mgiht have at one point, but not anymore. People don't go to the UK to see the queen.

Since I can no longer live in the UK (EU citizen), I merely visit. Mostly for friends and shopping. But the queen? Nope.

Abolish the monarchy..
