I've come back to you late, because I wanted to think about what you said, and I wanted to pay you the courtesy of responding to you properly.

My credentials are that I have been a political activist since the age of 14 because both my parents were anti-apartheid, my late father a holocaust survivor and he wrote a book called Memoirs of a Jewish journalist in Nazi Germany (available on Amazon).

In addition, I have been educated on three continents, have lived in two countries in Africa, 5 in Europe, 11 years in America, and currently in Ireland. I have been published since 1962 on three continents. You can read my 'about' section.

1. Israel is wrongly accused, and the source of your knowledge is the far left propaganda sheets - Vox, TruthDig, Huff Post, etc. It is now the Guardian, a paper I once worked for. If you dig, you will find that Iran and Russia are behind the slant that is now held by the left. Also, students take the view they do, because they have been indoctrinated at their universities, courtesy of billions pumped in from the Middle East. The goal is to isolate Israel so that she has no friends.

2. I have studied all three Abrahamic religions. I've read the Koran. If you read it, you will be shocked that they are to hate all Christians, kill the Jews, murder, rape, keep women are are not Muslims as sex slaves. Unlike the Christian bible and the Jewish Talmud and Torah, the Koran does not relate stories of what did happen. It is a direct instruction to kill, murder, and get the entire earth under Muslim rule and get them to live under Sharia law.

3. Israel does not have apartheid. The people who tell you this have no idea what apartheid is. Nor is Gaza under siege. Israel has simply built walls on the Israeli border (as has Egypt) to prevent suicide bombers coming in. Nor is there a single Jew living in Gaza. 20% of people living in Israel are Arab Muslims. They have the same legal rights as all Jews.

4. Israel does not treat Gaza badly. Ten percent of the Jews in Israel are far right. You have a far right in America. To blame all of Israel for what 10% of Jews do is the same as blaming all of America for what your school shooters do. Israel has done a lot of good for Gaza, and if you took time to read up about Israel, you could establish that for yourself.

My advice to you is to read all sides of the story - the left, the right, the in between, the international, and then make a decision.
