I've been trying to ascertain what the hell your sentence means. WTF are 'regressive faith faking fascists' who brandish 'cancel culture.'

I've been a progressive since 1966. I'm a hard-core atheist. And, as for cancel culture, it's been around since forever.

When people purposely ignored you as they did in Victorian England, it was called a social snub. During my school days in the 50s and 60s, it was called 'sending someone to Coventry.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Send_to_Coventry#

Ostracising people is nothing new. It's a sentiment of social punishment for those who break the rules. It's also a method of controlling those who don't agree with someone.

That said, there is something called the right of association. We are permitted to associate with whom we like.

Religion, conservatism, and other bullshit ideas are retrogressive of the 18th century. I don't wish to associate with people who waste my time.

So, please, do explain to me what, exactly, your sentence means. You clearly aren't an English major.

Complexity is never easy to explain, and far too many stick to black and white, and forget about the colors and the greys.
