It's so nice that you were able to earn all that money, plus have the type of experience people will pay for, and, no doubt, the qualifications.

However, some of us do write here for a living, and we've been doing that on various sites for many years. Most of us have no other means of survival. For myself, I'm autistic, or as they now say, I'm on the spectrum. High functioning.

I'm 71. My social security amounts to $212 per month. I live in Ireland. I left America in 2014 because I couldn't survive there.

Unfortunately, I never had a husband or a partner or anyone to hlep me with anything. I did, however, have a daughter (also disabled) to raise on my own.

So while I understand where you are coming from, let me say this. People write on Medium for many reasons, and some of us here, write for a living.
