It's prophet - not profit. Prophet is someone who speaks the word of god Profit is the extra money you make when you sell something.
2000 years ago, they had Judean date palms growing in Jerusalem. They are very tall trees, and they could easily be used to build a cross. There were also oak trees, junipers, and sycamores. There were no olive trees. (You can google that.)
Arabs and Jews were Semites. That meant that they had an olive skin. I am Jewish. I have an olive skin. Cleopatra was of Greek extraction, and also had an olive skin. People throughout the Middle East had an olive skin, so I'm not quite sure why having an olive skin wouldn't be classified as 'white.' People classify Turks, Greeks, Egyptians as white even though they have pitch black hair and olive skins.
Rabbis are not know-alls. A Rabbi told me that Mohommad went to the Jews and said that lots of money was made from religion, and they ought to start a new religion. Apparently, the Jews refused, so Mohammad started one on his own (Islam).
That said, I suppose some people did claim to be prophets. I have no idea. The thing is that I don't think Jesus ever existed. As I said in the piece, while there is evidence of the early church, there is no evidence of his existence. Jewish books of the time don't mention him.
Josephus was a historian who lived at the time. A piece about Jesus was inserted in about 1000 AD.
It's not true that if you ask any Rabbi what Jesus would be he wasn't married, and that would be gay. As I said, I am Jewish. There are people who want to believe that Jesus was gay, but again, there is evidence of it. If there isn't evidence of his existence, there certainly isn't evidence of his sexuality.
Why wouldn't terrain in Jerusalem hold up a cross? Of course, it could. It held up everything else!
People paint unicorns as white. They paint angels as having wings. It doesn't matter how people painted Jesus - they don't know. I'm not quite sure why it is important to you that he wasn't white. As I said, if he lived at that time, he would have had an olive skin - the same as anyone living in that area. The Middle East is not Africa. .
Lastly, I think it's highly unlikely that 3000 prophets lined the streets of Jerusalem calling themselves the son of god. They might have called themselves prophets, but not the son of god. And, again, there is no evidence that Jesus existed, and there is no mention of Jesus in Jewish books of the time, so I'm not sure where that Rabbi got that information. He might have been speaking generally.
I'm glad that you are kind to people. It is one of the greatest characteristics any human being can have. Good fo ryou!
