It's an interesting article.

I think I've met two men in my life who are as strong as I am and one man who was slightly stronger. That's it.

I immediately see the pretence. It's easy to see when one is very strong. And I'm talking strength of character here - emotional strength, the strength to do the right thing in the face of total loss, etc.

I think the reason men are so weak is that they never really deal with who they are. Most people don't. They're pretending from day one, and the problem with pretending is that the real stuff kepts swept under the table.

In order to develop strength, one must be able to face who one is, deal with it, and live with it. Most people never do that.
