It took me a year to get off the ground. The editors here had their favorites, and I suspect they know nothing about writing. The quality of the articles they selet for distribution is poor.

Then one of my articles got picked up by the international press and I got noticed. Also made $4300 that month.

Since then, I am making al iving, but most of my money comes from supporters on Ko-fi and Patreon.

I do think that Medium is sinking, though, and I'm sad about that. I'm going to go back to writing fiction and market myself off various other platforms.
