It baffles me that people have to learn to write. We all learnt to write in junior school. If people can't learn to write correctly in junior school, no writing course is ever going to teach them to write well.

The other aspect of writing that nobody ever speaks about is intelligence. If one doesn't have an analytical brain where one can break down information and present it in a palatable form, no writing course in the world is going to help.
