Israel was always admired until recently. As I'm a gentile (mother was not Jewish, and I only converted later), and as I've lived all over the world, and as I read newspapers from dozens of countries for a minimum of two hours every single day (the rest is spent reading magazines and books - up to 5 hours), I think I would know if Israel was disliked. That is complete and utter fucking bullshit. And as you live in Israel, you wouldn't know otherwise. It's all in your head.

What is true is that as a result of smart phones becoming common, and as a result of the web, the things that Israel are doing to the Palestine are now becoming common place, and they are going viral. When truckloads of fundamentalist Jews go into Eastern Jerusalem and violently attack passersby, these things get onto the web.

That is the source of the recent rise against Israel. It has fuck all to do with antisemitism, and you need to stop hiding behind that. You also need to recognize the difference between antisemitism and antizionism.

Absolutely nothing Palestinians are doing justifies the intense violence and inhumanity that Israel is guilty of. You speak about the United Nations 'giving' you Israel' and in the same breath you condemn the United Nations for your actions against Palestine. You can't have it both ways. The community of nations is not agaisnt you because of antisemitism. It is against you for your violent, inhumane treatment of Palestinians.

You need to accept that.

Oh, yes, and now we're done.

As I will have the last word on this conversation, my next action is up to you. You can continue to try and accuse me of bias, and or you can just accept that I simply do not agree with Israeli actions. If you have the last word, I will remove this conversation from the time line, and noone will see it. If you let this comment stand as the last comment, other's will see it and they can make up their own minds about who is right and who is wrong.

Now we will see whether you respond for the greater good of the community or whether you have a need to prove me wrong (ego justification).
