Interestingly, I seldom use a phone. I have to have one because it's impossible to open a bank account or sign up for accounts, etc. without one. I make about 2 phone calls a month. My daughter is the only person who has my phone number, and we mostly speak through Facebook, anyway.

I find that my camera takes a far better picture than any phone can. Ask any photographer. I don't listen to music much. And, yes, I do read free books (courtesy of VK) on my phone.

That said, you're talking about things, Stu. I was talking about quality of life.
