Interesting piece. I have to confess that I have never noticed whether a writer if male or female. I have also written for so long on so many platforms |(print and web|) that I know that publications come and go, that writers go in and out of fashion, that algorithms change, etc.

With that in mind, |'ve decided to switch to fiction. I will have to build up from scratch, but once a series is published on Google Play, etc. it should bring in money.
