Interesting piece. I avoided his films after I saw 2001 A space odyssey and walked out half way for a Clockwork Orange. I just get bored by subtle.

Likewise Quentin Tarantino. I saw Pulp fiction and Kill Bill and never went to see another film again.

I don't like the dirty side of life. I prefer my musicals, my happy ever after, etc. I also don't like to be bored, and I was incredibly bored with Space Odessy, Clockwork Orange, and Pulp Fiction.
