Interesting. I lived in Scotland for a while. The weather didn't worry me. The simple problem is that I don't have sufficient money not to be a burden to the state at some point, although I'm working on that. Nor do I have a famous novel (as yet). I'm really a bit of a nobody, so I wouldn't qualify for immigration to Canada.

The problem is that the people of Portugal do not want immigrants because they are driving up property prices and they resist anything where you need paperwork.
