Interesting. My mother ran away from home in 1939 at 14. She lied about her age and joined the army. At the end of the war, she went back to school to complete year 10.

In her time, she was the only woman on various national associations, a stock car racer, a dog breeder, a numismatist, a business owner, a political activist, and more.

Of course, she never stayed home. She insisted on working. We had 3 full time sercants at home. And I later went to boarding school.

I am not a feminist, and I will never be a feminist. Women do not get jailed if they insist on earning a paycheck. Most of our freedoms were won long ago.

The problem is religiin - not gender bias.
