In the early 90s, I was sitting at a stream. Suddenly, I was able to hear and be aware of a sort of electricity grid that connected all things. The grass was aware of the worms, and the worms were aware of the flowers, and the flowers were aware of the trees and the birds. The stream was aware of the rocks, and there was a sort of awareness of 'the other,' that I cannot explain.

It came to me that the only species not connected to this was the human species, and I was reminded of the tale of Adam and Eve.

What did I experience? Was it real?
