In the bigger picture, I think it's probably for the good. Climate change is now happening more and more quickly. Having spent some time in Cape Town, South Africa when the water ran out a few years ago, I know just how scary that can be.

If more companies go, more people will leave, and if more people leave, they may have fewer resources, but what natural resources there are, will, at least, have fewer mouths to feed and drink.

Fire and floods are going to kill a lot.

That said, yes, the law is crazy.
