In America, yes. However America has a very different culture to other western countries. In countries where education is free, and where there is a safety net, you don't have that dog eat dog society.

Also, the kind of Christianity that is American is not the kind of Christianity that I grew up with. It was about good ethics and there was no such thing as mega churches. Nor was there such a thing as Jesus saving you. It was basically ethical living.

I am sorry you never got to experience life in a better country.
