I'm well-traveled. By that I mean I have lived and worked on three contients in America, England, Scotland, South Africa, Lesotho, Spain, Portugal, and Germany.

I am dual German/South African citizen. I immigrated to America, and then emigrated right out of it after 11 years. I've stayed in various EU countries because I'm an EU citizen.

There is a difference between living and working in a country and going for a weekend or a week to visit. Living and working in a country means you have to understand the legalities of doing so, and you have to earn a living there which, in itself, teaches you a lot about that country. I could also vote in England, Scotland, Germany, and South Africa, so that teaches you about the politics.

Living in different countries also means you are closer to next-door countries, so you see them as well.

For instance, living in San Diego, I often popped across the border ot Mexico.

So, yes, I'm well-traveled. :)
