I'm not sure who you are speaking to. The issue here is 'wokeness' and groupthink. I understand the reasoning that people are using here. But, again, there is no evidence that the lady was racist. She might have been mentally ill, etc.
I grew up in the world's most racist country. My late father is was a holocaust survivor. Both my parents were antiapartheid. Growing up, I was told never, never, never to talk about the things that were spoken about at thome, as I would be arrested and jailed.
I had the police come to take my fingerprints when I was 16. Why? Because I went to help Nobel peace prize winner, Desmond Tutu, build homes for black people in the mid 60s.
I understand racism.
I also understand group think, mental illness and a lot more.
I understand that when people are hurting, everything that comes at them can be hurtful. For instance, if someone is bruised in an area, if someone else touches them there, they will hurt. If that same person touches anyone who is not bruised in the same area, other people will not hurt. So is the person who did the touching intentionally hurting the person who was bruised? No, the sensitivity is the person who was bruised.
I mean it when I say that if one is a hammer, everything can look like nail.
People who attack me on this and don't consider what I say are not thinking clearly. Again, it's called groupthink and wokness.
My considered conclusion is that while the woman's actions were in bad taste, etc. there is no evidence whatsoever that she intended it as a racist attack.
I'm sorry if you're disappointed in what I say. I have stood against groupthink for a lifetime. My record of speaking up and speaking out speaks for itself.
