I'm not sure who the greatest writers were, but curation did nothing for me. I would get a handful of views. My numbers took off when an article I wrote was mentioned in a couple of newspapers and everybody came to read my story. (Pure luck).

Eventually I just started my own magazine, and while it doesn't even remotely have the numbers yours has, I am able to earn.
