I'm not submitting to publications at all. I haven't for about a year. I have my own publications.

Distribution is different to publications. Distribution means that your articles are added to Medium news letters, etc. It has nothing to do with being in a publication.

Building my own readers in my own publications has been the best investment I made on Medium.
