I'm not longer in South Africa, and when I was, the help section of Payoneer was very unhelpful. Also Amazon actively told me over and over again that they did not use Payoneer.

Every now and then someone would email me and say that Amazon did pay into Payoneer - possibly accounts that were set up before Amazon decided to discourage it.

In any event, I had a Stripe account from years ago while living in Scotland, and I flew to London to get a bank card from my British bank, then flew back to South Africa and convinced Amazon to pay into my British Bank account despite my living in South Africa. They eventually succumbed.

I gather you're on the affiliate program for Payoneer. As explained elsewhere, Payoneer has done some shady things in the past, and that's why Amazon discouraged its use and why Medium selected Stripe.

Your opinion isn't going to change Medium's mind.
