I'm not fixated on crypto.

Here's what I think should happen.

1. There should be a maximum wage - nobody should earn more than 5 times what the lowest are earning. It's been working for 75 years for Mondragon. No reason it shouldn't work.

2. We all need to live with a lot less - and that includes getting rid of the private ownership of cars. Governments need to invest massively in state of the art public transport so that it is available to the general public at all times for all places. Large mansions need to be outlawed.

3. Universal Basic Income needs to be paid to everybody. Most people should work 20 hours a week, except those who are unable to - probably about 15% of the population. It's more than enough working hours to supply us with all we need on earth.

4. Modern Monetary Theory explains why taxes aren't necessary. Government can just print its own money,.

I'm not picking on cryptocurrency. It's just one more of the extraneous things that an entire group of people have got onto the bandwagon for. There are far simpler solutions that creating a stupid currency (means of payment, tokens, whatever) that uses up masses of energy.
