I'm just curious? Have you ever lived in the UK or parts of Europe? Atheists aren't trying to convince anyone of anything. They're just sick and tired of 'spiritual' people and 'believers trying to speak to them about their beliefs. It's boring to an athiest. Also, as it was rude to tell people you don't want to talk about the topic, atheists were forced to listen to this nonsense.
