I'm 70. I get bored, and I have Asperger's. I don't have an deep sense of connection with places or people. I do miss certain things like dancing and swimming and cylcing which are easier in some places than others, especially before Covid.

What am I running from? Well, if the country isn't easy for me to live in, I will find another country. For a long time, I didn't know why I battled at work, but as the years have come and gone, I have realized that different countries do offer different things.

I just moved to Ireland. Helluve problem with accommodation, but I'll figure a way. I plan to stay here for the rest of my life as there is nowhere else to go, except possibly Scotland if it re-enters the EU. Then, again, if I'm happy in Ireland, no reason to move. (I loved the Scottish people, and I loved the weather, but Ireland offers the same.)
