If 34% of the British voted for this, then what percentage voted for the Tories who lost seat after seat? 10%?
Forgive me, but I find it extremely childish to point out that only 34% of the populace voted for the party. In every single country in the world where one has the choice to vote or not, there is NEVER a majority who vote for any party, for the simple reason that many people don't vote.
As the voter turnout was 60% of the British population, 34% of the voters means that more than half the voters voted for them. And substantially less than that voted for the anybody else.
Yes, I would agree with you with regard to inexperience. Yet, sometimes enthusiasm, because it doesn't see road blocks, gets the job done. And sometimes, it doesn't. We will see.
What I see is that the Prime Minister and the Deputy Prime Minister and several others are not quite on the same page, and that is going to cause issues in the future. I'm waiting for that to happen.
With all of that, the manifesto is excellent.
We will see if any or many of it is implemented.
