I was wearing gold hoop earrings in the 60s. The idea of cultural appropriation is bs in my opinion. If we want to go that far, then I suggest we return algebra and our alphabet to the Arabs, gunpowder and noodles to the Chinese, and the web to the Swiss and the British.
