You're proud of having 150 views on Medium. One of my recent pieces had 164 views and 98,000 reads. I couldn't count how many views and reads I've had on Medium, and in my years of writing on the web, as some pieces have had more than a million reads (on various sites through the years), I once counted what I could verify on the various sites during my past 30 years on the web, and it was well over 200 million reads. :)

How's San Diego these days? I left in 2014, and since then have lived in multiple countries on three continents, and traveled further. :)

People are different, Shawn. They have different experiences. You cannot measure the experience and lives of others by your own culture and experiences. :)
