I was lucky enough to win $500 to months running, but I don't kid myself - it was luck. A great deal of successful writing has to do with luck. You write the write article at the right time, and suddenly it takes off. The only way that luck happens is for one to continue writing, and eventually, maybe, one day, it will be rewarded. :)
