However, the what actually happened was tgat we were at the end of the British Empire towards tge end of the 60s, and Margaret Thatcher, with no more wealth coming in from the colonies startef latching on to laizzes Faire capitalism — along with Reagan. Unions were destroyed, social services went out the window, taxes were lowered for the rich, yuppies were born, social housing was sold off, and education began to be pricey.

In addition to that, the last high school class that had a classical education was the class of 69. After that, everything went south.

The boomers did do well. Business was easy. That’s not my problem with my generation. My problem is their support of neoliberalism and their disregard for climate change.
